A practical stamp workflow

How to Make a Digital Stamp

This workflow creates an image for documents and creative projects. Start with the information you need people to read, then choose a layout that gives it enough room.

Choose an office template ↗

1. Choose a layout for the task

Use a rectangle for short office statuses such as PAID or RECEIVED. Choose a circle for a short company name around central initials. If you already have artwork, use Image to Stamp to prepare a transparent image, or the Logo tab to put it inside a text design. You can also choose No frame for a borderless layout.

2. Replace the sample details

Edit the center text, then the curved text if your shape supports it. Paid and Received start with today’s local date when you create a fresh design. Review that date before downloading: a saved design preserves its saved date. Use US, UK or ISO formatting to match the document’s audience.

3. Adjust spacing and inspect the preview

Keep long names on separate lines instead of shrinking everything. Center and curved text have independent sizes and letter spacing. Move or rotate a logo if it needs more room. Inspect the stamp at its intended size, since a large preview can hide readability problems that appear in a small document mark.

4. Export for the next step

Download a transparent PNG for a document, SVG for compatible design software, or a PDF on Letter or A4. For an existing PDF, open Add to PDF, choose the pages, position the stamp and save a new copy. The original PDF remains unchanged. The tool adds a graphic mark; it does not create a certificate-based digital signature.

Keep an editable version for later

Use Save design to download a design file, then Open design to return to it. Browser drafts are convenient on the same device but are not a backup service. Save a new design after important changes and check the text and date each time you reuse it. A PNG alone does not preserve separately editable text fields.
